To my great surprise, it gave me a satisfaction I had never known before — and a peace of mind I hadn't felt in decades.
During this journey I have visited places that changed me: the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem — a place with an inexplicable smell and feeling, I have been there twice in three months. The Church of the Annunciation and Mary's Well in Nazareth. The church on Mount Tabor with one of the most breathtaking views in the Holy Land. Small and sacred churches in Tiberias and Jaffa. I have met remarkable people — and remarkable customers who became friends.
